Frontispiece and four glossy full-page illustrations present in seven titles up to The Whispering Statue, with frontispiece only, as called for. Illustrated by Russell H Tandy. Red publisher's top stains to all volumes. Very Good condition, except for The Password to Larkspur Lane and The Clue of the Broken Locket, which are both in Good condition, with white marks to the bottom front edges of the boards, lower spine edges and versos. Tiny (1.8cm by 1cm) Frederick and Nelson stickers to the top edges of the front paste downs of four titles with light residues of these stickers removed from the other four books.
